Resumo: O objetivo deste trabalho é apresentar, através das reflexões de Walter Benjamin e Frantz Fanon, dois processos de identificação no interior das relações sociais que manifestam aspectos das adversidades da estrutura social capitalista. Veremos que esse processo, embora venha de pontos antagônicos do capitalismo, ganha sentidos diferentes a partir da historicidade dos seus contextos. Enquanto que, para Benjamin, a identificação dos vencidos com os vencedores opera para o fortalecimento da tradição dos vencedores; em Fanon, a relação de identificação é inicialmente uma tentativa do indivíduo colonizado ser reconhecido como humano, em um mundo construído a partir da visão dos colonizadores. Desse modo, ambas as perspectivas revelam dinâmicas de dominação simbólica e material, evidenciando como a identidade pode ser moldada por relações de poder desiguais, influenciando a consciência histórica, cultural e social dos sujeitos envolvidos. Evidenciando que no contexto do capitalismo o processo de dominação vai além do âmbito material, mas também social.

Abstract: The objective of this work is to present, through the reflections of Walter Benjamin and Frantz Fanon, two processes of identification within social relations that manifest aspects of the adversities of the capitalist social structure. We will see that this process, although it originates from antagonistic points within capitalism, acquires different meanings based on the historicity of its contexts. While, for Benjamin, the identification of the defeated with the victors operates to strengthen the tradition of the victors; in Fanon, the relation of identification is initially an attempt by the colonized individual to be recognized as human in a world constructed from the perspective of the colonizers. In this way, both perspectives reveal dynamics of symbolic and material domination, highlighting how identity can be shaped by unequal power relations, influencing the historical, cultural, and social consciousness of the subjects involved. This shows that, in the context of capitalism, the process of domination goes beyond the material sphere, extending also into the social sphere.
