Resumo: Começaremos este texto com uma indagação: a que está servindo a produção do conhecimento na universidade? O objetivo deste texto é refletir sobre a crise da educação nas universidades, que tem levado à alienação. Tem por referência teórica Marx e Nietzsche. A metodologia segue uma análise comparativa. A crise da educação diz respeito ao fato de o conhecimento nas universidades servir a interesses do Estado e do capital. As estruturas dominantes do sistema vigente, suas contradições e as crises que elas acarretam, têm transformado o conhecimento em mero objeto de valorização do capital e a ele subordinado, assim como aos interesses do Estado, comprometendo a ênfase na elevação da cultura humana.

Abstract: We begin this text with a question: which is serving the production of knowledge in the university? The aim of this paper is to reflect on the crisis of education in universities, which has led to the alienation. This text is theoretical reference Marx e Nietzsche. The methodology follows a analysis comparative. The education crisis relates to the fact that knowledge, although produced in a public institution, serving the interests of state and of capital. The dominant structures in the current system, its contradictions and crises that they entail, have transformed knowledge into a mere object of capital appreciation and it subordinate, well as the interests of the state, undermining the emphasis on raising human culture.
