Resumo: O presente artigo investiga, com metodologia filosófica, a seguinte questão: Como o ocidente dividido pela atual hegemonia neoliberal conservadora, produz a decadência da esfera pública e coloca em risco a civilização humana, impondo barreiras ao Estado de bem-estar social? Justifica-se esta questão pelo avanço do impacto das “Big Techs” na esfera pública política que consolida o poder global de corporações gigantes, sob a hegemonia de uma ideologia neoliberal que dificulta sua regulação pelos Estados. Elevados lucros impulsionados por notícias falsas colocam em cheque o Estado Democrático de Direito e apresentam a tendência da união entre as plataformas e as ditaduras do Spim. Garantindo lucros escandalosos para uns e poder demagógico para outros. Evidencia-se o conflito entre o sistema capitalista e as democracias. Identifica-se a erosão da esfera pública e do modelo de política deliberativa, colocando em risco a legitimação Estado Democrático. A crescente construção de bolhas e o avanço das falsas notícias produz a erosão do poder comunicativo e sua substituição pelo poder econômico e demagógico-autoritário a ele alinhado. O enfrentamento ao problema exige a mediação econômica e político jurídica. Sem as quais o risco à civilização volta a nos assombrar.

Abstract: This article uses a philosophical methodology, to investigate the following question: How does the West, divided by the current conservative neoliberal hegemony, produce the decline of the public sphere and put the Human civilization at risk, imposing barriers to the welfare state? This question is justified by the increasing impact of “Big Techs” on the political public sphere, which consolidates the global power of giant corporations, under the hegemony of a neoliberal ideology that makes it difficult for states to regulate them. High profits driven by fake news put the Democratic Rule of Law at risk and show the tendency for platforms to unite with the dictatorships of SPIM, guaranteeing scandalous profits for some and demagogic power for others. The conflict between the capitalist system and democracies is evident. The erosion of the public sphere and the deliberative political model is identified, putting the legitimacy of the Democratic State at risk. The growing construction of bubbles and the spread of fake news are eroding communicative power and replacing it with the economic and demagogic-authoritarian power aligned with it. Confronting the problem requires economic and political-legal mediation. Without these, the risk to civilization will once again haunt us.
