Resumo: O presente artigo tem objetivo abordar os primeiros indícios e fundamentações para
a crítica da religião marxista, analisando desde a conjuntura social, política e histórica que
Marx nasceu e cresceu, as influências que tivera, desde seus pais a seus estudos em Bonn, a
construção de sua tese de doutoramento e sua entrada para o grupo de hegelianos de esquerda.
Temos também o propósito de abordar como a questão da religião no pensamento de Marx
sempre esteve relacionado às condições materiais vigentes de nossa sociedade. E por isso não
podemos nos confundir e atribuir a religião como parte da essência humana, ou como algo
alheio e independente de nossa vontade. É necessário compreender que o reflexo religioso é
apenas mais um entre tantos outros reflexos fantásticos e especulativo-idealistas de nosso
pensamento, e é fundamental que nosso pensamento se afaste de toda e qualquer mistificação
para que possamos ter o entendimento real do mundo.

Abstract: This article aims to address the first indications and foundations for the critique of
Marxist religion, analyzing from the social, political and historical context that Marx was
born and raised in, the influences he had, from his parents to his studies in Bonn, the
construction of his doctoral thesis and his entry into the group of left-wing Hegelians. We also
have the purpose of approaching how the question of religion in Marx’s thought was always
related to the prevailing material conditions of our society. And that is why we cannot be
confused and attribute religion as part of the human essence, or as something alien and
independent of our will. It is necessary to understand that the religious reflection is just one
among many other fantastic and speculative-idealistic reflections of our thinking, and it is
essential that our thinking distance itself from any mystification so that we can have a real
understanding of the world.
