Resumo: Esta pesquisa objetiva, a partir das perspectivas de Feuerbach e Marx, abordar o entendimento da religião como uma instância que detém grande poder sobre as atitudes dos seres humanos. No entanto, a forma que os sujeitos se encontram na religião demonstra certa superficialidade, pois, há uma consciência invertida na relação sujeito-objeto. Verificando-se a relação que a ação humana possui com a alienação, tida aqui, como a ignorância e inversão do homem enquanto sujeito, em objeto. Em foco está o objeto religioso. Este objeto, por sua vez, adquire certa autonomia conduzindo as atitudes do sujeito ganhando o caráter de ideologia. Essa inversão demonstra o caráter alienante da religião e, consequentemente, de sua estrutura. Trata-se de analisar mais especificamente a maneira como a religião vincula-se as representações da consciência sobre a realidade, tomada primeiro idealmente. Desse modo, discorre-se sobre o conceito de alienação, de fundamental importância para compreender a relação que a consciência religiosa desempenha na construção da realidade concreta.

Abstract: This research aims, from the perspectives of Feuerbach and Marx, to approach the understanding of religion as an instance that holds great power over the attitudes of men. However, the form that the subjects find themselves in it shows a certain superficiality, because there is an inverted consciousness in the subject-object relationship. Checking the relationship that human action has with alienation, seen here, as the ignorance and inversion of man as a subject, in object. The object in focus is the religious object. This object, in turn, acquires a certain autonomy leading the subject’s attitudes, thus gaining the character of ideology. This inversion demonstrates the alienating character of religion and, consequently, its structure. It is a matter of analyzing more specifically the way in which religion is linked to representations of consciousness about reality, taken first ideally. In this way, the concept of alienation is discussed, which is of fundamental importance to understand the relationship that religious consciousness plays in the construction of concrete reality.
