Resumo: O objetivo deste texto é realizar uma apresentação dos conceitos de mente e de faculdade na filosofia de Kant, a partir da reunião de informações distribuídas sobre este tema em várias passagens de suas obras e, em particular, no seu sistema crítico: a Crítica da razão pura (1781/ 1789), a Crítica da razão prática (1788) e a Crítica da faculdade do juízo (1793). As questões abordadas neste trabalho são as seguintes: o problema terminológico dos termos mente e faculdade em Kant; o duplo conceito de mente em Kant enquanto sistema de faculdades e princípio de vida; a partição e a relação geral das faculdades. Ao longo e ao final do trabalho, argumentar-se-á que Kant se aproxima da visão funcionalista e dualista no interior da filosofia da mente.

Abstract: The aim of this paper is a presentation of the concepts of mind and faculties in Kant‟s philosophy, from gathering information distributed on this topic in several passages of his works and, in particular, in his critical system: the Critique of pure reason (1781/1789), the Critique of practical reason (1788) and Critique of judgement (1793). The issues addressed in this work are the terminological problem of terms mind and faculty in Kant; the dual concept of mind in Kant while system of facultaties and principle of the life; the partition and the general relation of the faculties. During and at the end of the work, I will argue that Kant approaches the functionalist and the dualistic view in philosophy of mind.
