Resumo: O objetivo deste artigo é examinar o sentido e delimitar o escopo do termo “vida não fascista”, empregado por Foucault no prefácio que escreveu para a tradução americana de O Anti-Édipo, de Gilles Deleuze e Félix Guattari. De meu ponto de vista, a melhor compreensão dessa expressão requer a análise das considerações de Foucault sobre o fascismo apresentadas no final dos anos 1970.

Abstract: The purpose of this article is to examine the meaning and delimit the scope of the term “non-fascist life”, employed by Foucault in the preface he wrote for the American translation of The Anti-Oedipus, by Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari. In my view, a better understanding of this expression requires an analysis of Foucault’s considerations of fascism in the late 1970s.
