Resumo: o presente artigo pretende apresentar os pontos de contato e as diferenças entre os conceitos de morte, tal como concebidos por Foucault e Agamben. Mais do que simplesmente realçar o que pode haver de analogia entre os dois pensadores, trata-se de demarcar em que podem diferir e como isto impacta os modos próprios de considerarem a política, mais especificamente a biopolítica.

Abstract:The present article aims to present the points of contact and differences between the concepts of death, as conceived by Foucault and Agamben. Rather than simply highlighting what may be analogy between the two thinkers, it is a question of how they might differ and how this impacts their own ways of considering politics, more specifically biopolitics.
