Resumo: Diante da função destacada dada ao texto escrito na produção filosófica em geral, o objetivo deste trabalho é apresentar uma reflexão acerca do papel dos diálogos, no âmbito da relação entre escrita e filosofia em Platão. Para tanto, buscamos recapitular as principais abordagens teóricas a esse respeito: as perspectivas que diminuem a função da escrita e, portanto, do diálogo escrito, enquanto forma possível para o conhecimento filosófico, e aquelas que o consideram como um construto complexo que possibilita a investigação, segundo os argumentos de McCabe (2006), Trabattoni (2010), Cotton (2014), Reale (2007). Defendemos que o diálogo propicia um engajamento ativo do seu leitor, possibilitando, por conseguinte, a construção do conhecimento, fato que se possibilita pela complexidade da construção dialógica: os diferentes enquadres, o uso de ironias, as aporias etc. Para isso, propomos uma breve análise do Teeteto, buscando identificar alguns elementos do gênero diálogo e demonstrar os mecanismos dos quais ele se serve, para proporcionar uma leitura ativa, pela qual seria possível superar as limitações apontadas pelo próprio Platão em suas críticas à escrita.

Abstract: Given theprominentfunctionofwritten textsin philosophicalproduction in general, the goal of thispaper is to presenta reflection onthe role ofdialogues within the context of the relationshipbetween writing andphilosophyin Plato. Therefore, we seek to recapitulatethe main theoretical approacheson this matter:the perspectiveswhich lessenthefunction of writingand, hence,thewritten dialogueas a possible formforphilosophical knowledge,and thosewhich consider itas a complexconstruct thatallows the investigation. We follow theviews ofMcCabe(2006), Trabattoni(2010), Cotton (2014), Reale(2007). We argue that the dialogueprovides withan activeenvolvementof its reader, enabling him to build hisknowledge, as a consequence of the complexity ofdialogical construction: the differentframings, the use of irony,the aporiasetc.For this,we propose abrief analysis of theTheaetetus, seeking to identify someelementsof the genredialogueand to demonstratethe mechanismsof whichitservesto providean activereading,in whichit would be possibleto overcome thelimitations mentionedbyPlato himselfinhis criticism ofwriting.
