Resumo: O tema central deste trabalho considera o homem na nova filosofia de Feuerbach, com a finalidade de compreendê-lo enquanto um ser que tem a sua origem na natureza, encontrando nela os meios materiais para a sua existência e perceber a unidade entre razão e sensibilidade como critério norteador para a elaboração de conceitos, tendo os objetos sensíveis como base concreta para originar o conhecimento e justificar a compreensão de homem. Para atingir tais objetivos, analisamos, principalmente, as obras de Feuerbach, Necessidade de uma Reforma da Filosofia; Teses Provisórias para uma Reforma da Filosofia e Princípios da Filosofia do Futuro, nos quais o autor faz uma análise crítica sobre a teologia cristã e a filosofia especulativa moderna. Nesta perspectiva, abordamos o caráter duplo do homem, razão e sensibilidade, no pensamento do filósofo, denunciando a supressão desta última, tanto pela teologia cristã como pela filosofia especulativa, ou seja, dentro do projeto da nova filosofia de Feuerbach, ele identifica apenas uma transmutação da teologia cristã para a filosofia especulativa moderna, de modo que ambas concebem o homem destituído de sensibilidade.

Abstract: The central issue of this paper considers the man in the new Feuerbachian Philosophy, in order to understand him as a being that has his origin in the nature and finds there, the material resources for his existence. It is also intended to realize the unity between reason and sensibility as a guiding criterion for the development of concepts, having the sensitive objects as concrete base to originate knowledge and justify man understanding. To achieve these goals, we have mainly analyzed the following texts: Reforma da Filosofia; Teses Provisórias para uma Reforma da Filosofia and Princípios da Filosofia do Futuro, in which, Feuerbach makes a critical analysis of Christian Theology and Modern Speculative Philosophy. From this perspective, we have dealt with the dual character – reason and sensibility – from the philosopher thought, denouncing the suppression of the latter, both by Christian Theology as by Speculative Philosophy. In other words, within the project of the new Feuerbachian Philosophy, he identifies only a transmutation from Christian Theology to modern Speculative Philosophy, so that both conceive the man devoid of sensibility.
