Resumo: O objetivo desse artigo é descrever o termo esquematismo, bem como sua
articulação no idealismo transcendental de Immanuel Kant (1724-1804). Esse termo diz
respeito à maneira pela qual o conhecimento humano é realizado através da operação conjunta
de duas faculdades distintas, o entendimento, em que se opera o conceito, e a sensibilidade,
em que se operam as formas puras da intuição. O conceito seria do âmbito da representação,
da ideia; e as formas puras da intuição seriam do âmbito empírico, do fenômeno. Segundo
Kant, há uma representação servindo como elemento mediador entre o conceito e a intuição
denominado de esquema transcendental, sendo que o processo pelo qual esse esquema
acontece é intitulado de esquematismo transcendental. Na verdade, esse processo pode ser
considerado, estrito senso, como o arcabouço do idealismo transcendental.

Abstract:The aim of this paper is to describe the term schematism and its articulation in the
transcendental idealism of Immanuel Kant (1724-1804). This term refers to the way human
knowledge is realized through the joint operation of two distinct faculties, the understanding,
in which operates the concept, and the sensibility, in which operate the pure forms of intuition.
The concept is in the scope of the representation, of the idea; and the pure forms of intuition is
in the scope of the empiric, of the phenomenon. According to Kant, there is a representation
serving as mediator element between concept and intuition called transcendental schema,
being it the process by which this schema happens is entitled transcendental schematism. In
fact, this process can be considered in the strict sense as the framework of the transcendental
idealism.
