Resumo: A geo-filosofia de Deleuze e Guattari parte de uma questão muito simples que eles
desdobram de modos diversos e a qual nos detemos aqui sobremaneira, qual seja, “Qual a
relação do pensamento com a Terra?” Esta questão é formulada por eles, particularmente, em
O que é a filosofia? (1992), última obra escrita por eles conjuntamente e que sintetiza,
podemos dizer, suas duas outras obras comuns, O anti-Édipo (1972) e Mil platôs (1980), os
dois tomos de Capitalismo e esquizofrenia. Neste artigo, pretendemos esclarecer de que modo
há esta relação do pensamento com a terra do ponto de vista de Deleuze e Guattari, bem como
demonstrar que ela não diz respeito apenas a’O que é a filosofia? enquanto obra e problema,
mas também à obra e problema da máquina de guerra e do aparelho de Estado em Mil platôs,
social e politicamente, e d’O anti-Édipo de um ponto de vista inconsciente.

Abstract: The geo-philosophy of Deleuze and Guatarri starts from a very simple question
which they unfold in several ways and on which it has been focused here considerably, that is
to say, “What is the relation of the thought to the Earth?”, this question was developed,
especially, in What is philosophy? (1991), last work jointly written by them and which
summarizes, that is, their two other works in collaboration, Anti-Oedipus (1972) and A
thousand Plateaus (1980), the two volumes of Capitalism and schizophrenia. From this
question, this paper conside that it is not related only to What is philosophy?, but also to the
problem of the war machine and the State system in A thousand Plateaus socially and
politically, thus our major aim with this work is to analyze how the relation between the war
machine and the State system in A thousand Plateaus is directly connected to the relation of
either the thought to the earth or the philosophy to the earth regarding to the geophilosophy of
Deleuze and Guatarri.
