Resumo: O presente texto procura apresentar a compreensão feuerbachiana acerca das teorias espiritualistas e materialistas enquanto emanam do dualismo como um pressuposto teórico não examinado. Essas perspectivas estão fundadas na forma como o ser humano concebe o corpo e estabelece o sentido de sua existência. De um lado, o corpo é rechaçado em decorrência de sua finitude impedir a realização do desejo de imortalidade. Por outro lado, o corpo é concebido como realidade puramente física, negando-lhe qualquer expressão não física como parte de suas possíveis expressões. A antropologia feuerbachiana procura ir para além dessas teorias e abrir terreno a uma nova forma de filosofar.

Abstract: The present text tries to present / display the Feuerbachian understanding on the spiritualistic and materialistic theories while emanating of the dualism like a theoretical presupposition not examined. These perspectives are grounded in the way the human being conceives the body and establishes the meaning of its existence. On the one hand, the body is rejected because of its finitude to prevent the realization of the desire for immortality. On the other hand, the body is conceived as a purely physical reality, denying it any non-physical expression as part of its possible expressions. The feuerbachian anthropology tries to go beyond these theories and to open land to a new form of philosophizing.
