Resumo: Neste artigo proponho alguns elementos que permitem identificar um interesse político no interior do pensamento de Feuerbach, considerando o desenvolvimento da questão sobretudo nos textos da década de 1840, embora por vezes recorra a textos posteriores. Meu objetivo é mostrar como, partindo seja do diagnóstico da situação política de sua época, seja da avaliação crítica da pseudo-comunidade cristã, Feuerbach procura estabelecer os fundamentos de uma reflexão política que considera a centralidade da comunidade para a realização essência humana, a qual encontra numa teoria do reconhecimento e na secularização do conceito de religião o espaço de sua efetividade.

Abstract: This article advances some elements that allow the researcher to identify a political interest within Feuerbach’s thought as one considers the development of this question, especially in his writings of the 1840s, although he sometimes refers to later texts. Starting not only from his diagnosis of the political situation of the time, but also from his critical evaluation of a falsely Christian community, the goal here is to show how Feuerbach seeks to set up the foundation for a political reflection that considers the centrality of the community for the realization of human essence which finds in a theory of recognition and secularization of the concept of religion the space of its effectiveness.
