Resumo: O objetivo do presente artigo é analisar, a partir da obra A Essência da fé segundo Lutero de autoria de Feuerbah, como a concepção, notadamente luterana, foi importante para a configuração da moderna filosofia alemã, especialmente no século XIX e como, no entender do filósofo alemão, o reformador apresenta um Cristo pro nobis, diferente do catolicismo que apresentava um Cristo em si e de cunho mais metafísico.

Abstract: The aim of the present article is to analyze, from Feuerbah’s The Essence of Faith according to Luther, how the Lutheran conception was important for the configuration of modern German philosophy, especially in the nineteenth century and how, in the understanding of german philosopher, the reformer presents a Christ pro nobis, different from the Catholicism that presented a Christ in itself and more metaphysical.
